Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo. The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.

Although Keovi's facial markings stay relatively the same (dark nose, cheek stripes, ear spots), I like to tweak those constants and change their relative proportions. For now, this is his/my design, although I certainly don't mind if people experiment should they ever draw him :3 This particular sheet is for my fursuit head. Whitey's working on that for FC, so keep an eye out for me there!

I originally chose the title simply because of the song I was listening to at the time I drew this...but I then realized how incredibly appropriate it is considering the fate of these two characters. Tried a new coloring technique here, with mixed results.
